Born in 1992 in Ponta Delgada (Azores), Eugénia Contente had her first contact with the guitar at the age of 9. She went through the Hot Clube de Portugal, and her influences from funk, jazz, and fusion, combined with the desire to compose original music, culminated in the formation of her trio.

She released her first album "
Duckontente" in 2023 and was included in the same year in the compilation of New Talents Fnac with the track "Django Avishained".

The trio was an integral part of the resident band for the TV show "5 para a meia noite" and their single "Rubber Duck" earned her a nomination in 2024 for the "International Portuguese Music Awards" in the "Instrumental Performance" category.
